Assembly

Pre-break the blank along all creases. Glue the glue flap to the inside of the opposite wall and lay the carton flat. Erect for filling, fold in the dust flaps, and insert the tuck flaps.

Frequently asked questions about this template

Which dimensions belong to the card and which to the holder?

The size 105 × 148 mm describes the holder's final format. giftCardWidth and giftCardHeight describe the inserted card; their starting values are 85.6 × 54 mm. Do not swap these two dimension sets. Also check the selected clearance and position on the holder's back panel.

Are the corner pockets glued-on parts?

No. The corners option creates four corner slots in the card holder. The card corners slide into them. No separate glued-on pockets are calculated. Check insertion direction on the sample and whether the card corners are held securely without the board tearing at the slot ends.

Can I use two side slots instead of corner slots?

Yes. giftCardMount offers corners and slits. slits uses two side slots for mounting. Slot positions follow the entered card dimensions and clearance. After a change, recheck assembly and artwork; identical holder outside dimensions do not mean both mounting types behave the same way.

Does the gift card holder have to be folded?

No. giftCardFolded switches between a folded card and a single card. The starting example uses the folded card. The single card has no second cover panel. Check the new blank and artwork assignment instead of continuing to use an existing folded-card print sheet unchanged.

How is a hanging hole added?

hangHole starts at none. Euro slot, round hole, or slot enable an additional header; hangTabHeight describes its height. The hole parameters determine the opening in it. MFG-009 checks the remaining material bridge. The actual hanging arrangement with the inserted card must also be checked on the sample.
